"A DELICATE BALANCE" creates a dreamlike mood, but also invites closer inspection. The base layer of this artwork is made of many, many different pieces of fabric, but they are only faintly visible beneath the multitude of thin acrylic glazes. There are also a few metallic gold accents on the artwork, both from metallic gold paint, and metallic gold brocade paisley fabric triangles.
